Remember! Pass this information on to any Class VI owners or operators that you know.  We want to ensure that everyone gets familiar with this website and all it has to offer.

If you ever have any questions or comments about the information provided here, please feel free to contact Rachel Pustilnik at 804-786-8861 or rpustilnik@vdh.state.va.us
Number of Grandparented Operators Reaches Record High!
As the February 15, 2003 deadline approached for Class VI operators to apply for a Restricted (grandparented) Class VI license, many hurried to get their applications in.  This special license allows for Class VI operators to have a 3 year grace period before they are required to take the license exam.  Since the deadline has passed to apply, DPOR is finishing up processing the applications.

Almost 500 people have been issued their grandparented license!  This exceeds expectations!  If you have received a grandparented license, don't forget to apply for reimbursement to get your license fees refunded.  Click here to access our forms!
The Class VI Training Manual will be ready in October 2003
The Class VI Training Manual has begun development.  It has been designed to focus on the specific content areas of the exam.  Each chapter is written by subject-matter-experts throughout the state to ensure it is comprehensive and easy-to-use.  A detailed glossary and index will included as well as a practice test.  You will find this manual perfect for studying!!

Click here for a listing of the chapter titles and a brief description of what will be covered.

As soon as the manual is available, order forms will be sent out so you can get your copy right away.  Remember this manual is FREE!
Reimbursement Update
As of June 6 2003, 120 people have submitted reimbursement forms for their $85 license fee!

Don't be left out! Send your information in today.  Fill out the form online or print it out and fax or mail it to us.  Don't forget to also include a copy of your operator license.  Click here for instructions.
What could be better than getting $85?
